Media and Culture
The focus of the department Media and Culture (mcm = 3) is the Center for Book and Publishing Studies. It includes three educational programs, research projects and various collaborations.
At the Center for Book and Publishing Studies the research and teaching activities focus on the cultural, social, technological and economic aspects of the medium book and its intermedial context. The impact of media change and the digitalization of the publishing and media industry is a central issue.
